I maintain a full cabinet at an industry-leading colocation facility in Fremont, Califonia.

The cabinet is serviced by a 100Mbit/second connection to the internet. (Mineral websites use lots of pictures, so bandwidth is very important to the user experience).

I live close enough to get to my servers within an hour, and have 24x7 physical access. This gives me the ability to be as responsive to your needs as possible. If your site has a problem, you need deal only with me, and can rest assured I will work on it until the problem is resolved.

All web hosting includes spam-filtered email hosting for your domain at no extra charge at your option.

I offer both "dedicated" and "shared" hosting.

With a dedicated server, you purchase the server hardware (typically around $1000, and I do not make any money on the hardware), which I will install into the cabinet at the colocation facility. You then pay a monthy fee in exchange for bandwidth, power, and rack-space. Your site(s) have exclusive use of your server resources, guaranteeing a highlevel of performance.

With a shared server, your site is hosted on a server running sites for two or more of my clients. You pay a monthy fee which covers the use of the server, storage space for the database, and your site's share of bandwidth, power, and rack-space. The fee is scaled to the level of resources your site requires.

In general, the monthly fee for dedicated servers is greater than for sites hosted on a shared server.

While I specialize in hosting sites running my back-end software, I am happy to host other sites.
