The "Site Control Panel" is a set of password-protected web pages that
provide features for uploading specimen data into the database,
either through a web form or via bulk upload from a text file.
The following screen-shots illustrate a few of these forms and controls:

(Image files are uploaded to the server using any standard ftp
client program. Only the largest image you wish to display need be uploaded;
the site software will automatically create properly-scaled thumbnail images
from thelarge ones).
The "back-end" design is tuned to make entering specimen data into
the database as streamlined as possible, either via a web form:
